Simon & Schuster

Simon & Schuster's Summer Internship Program is nine weeks (from early June to early August). Interns are required to work full-time, Monday- Friday, from 9am-5pm, through the entire length of the program. S&S will compensate Interns at the rate of $11.00/hour.

The program includes weekly luncheons hosted by Human Resources and facilitated by full-time employees. In addition, Interns are encouraged to interact with each other and share their experiences through a final team project. Upon completion of the program, Interns will leave with valuable working experience and a full understanding of the book publishing industry.

Smithsonian Internship Opportunities

CSIS offers internships to students in the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. The internships focus on gaining experience in public policy in an institution that supports bi-partisan efforts.

Children's Pressline

Editorial Coordinators (Internship) will be responsible for managing teams of youth journalists as they research, brief and interview their peers around the world. By outreaching to youth-serving organizations, the intern will coordinate peer-to-peer interviews between CPL journalists and kids across the country. Topics are youth and adult-generated. Some transcribing and editing will be involved.

Interns will work directly with program director & gain nonprofit & editorial management skills. Interns need to be able to work independently, understand the value of deadlines & have excellent research & phone skills.

The New York Media Experience Program is operated by Marist Colleges Communication Program, which has more than 25 years of experience placing undergraduate students in New York City internships. NYMEP is offered during Fall & Spring semesters only.

PGA Tour Diversity Internship Program

The PGA TOUR is committed to attaining greater diversity within our organization, as well as, the golf industry. To support this effort, the PGA TOUR established the Diversity Internship Program in 1992. Several internship opportunities are available in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, TV Production, Information Systems, Event Management and other areas within the PGA TOUR. We have also partnered with other golf industry leaders such as Acushnet Companies (Titleist, Foot Joy, etc.), The Golf Channel, The First Tee and the World Golf Hall of Fame to help them diversify their workforce.

Freeman ASSIST, generously sponsored by the Freeman Foundation, offers educational allowances to East and Southeast Asian undergraduate students who are pursuing summer internships at not-for-profit organizations in their host community or elsewhere in the United States. Undergraduate students from Brunei, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam who are currently studying in the U.S. and who secure internships with U.S not-for-profit organizations during the summer of 2007 are eligible.
