  • The National Coalition for Students with Disabilities is a not-for-profit, grassroots organization founded in 1995 to strengthen the legal rights of persons with disabilities and facilitate communication between student groups. NCSD provides information on employment, scholarships, telecommuting, and internship and volunteer opportunities.
  • ENTRY POINT! is a program of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) offering outstanding internship opportunities for students with disabilities in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, and some fields of Business.  AAAS has developed unique partnerships with IBM, NASA, Merck, NOAA, Google and university science laboratories to meet their human resources needs. Working with its partners, AAAS identifies and screens undergraduate and graduate students with disabilities who are pursuing degrees in science, engineering, mathematics, computer science, and some fields of business, and places them in paid summer internships.
  • Emerging Leaders is a highly competitive program that places college students with disabilities in fulfilling summer internships and provides them with leadership development opportunities. Emerging Leaders partners with businesses to help them find outstanding young talent while also considering diversity and inclusion in their hiring practices. Booz Allen Hamilton founded Emerging Leaders in 2001. The program currently is administered by the National Business & Disability Council . View an online presentation about this program.

  • The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) is a free consulting service that provides information about job accommodations, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the employability of people with disabilities.

  • Career Opportunities for Students with Disabilities is a consortium of universities, national employers and government agencies focused on the career employment of college graduates with disabilities. COSD provides training modules and conducts a national conference each year related to employment of persons with disabilities.
