Reporting a Hire

ZebraNet allows employers to track Stony Brook hires and report placements right into their employer accounts. Why is this important? The Career Center is asked how many Stony Brook students are hired for job opportunities and internship opportunities on a continuous. In order to provide effective services and recruiting programs for employers, we need to demonstrate statistics that support our efforts. In addition, our federally funded programs require us to report hiring statistics to the Federal Government.

You can report a hire by logging into your ZebraNet account and following these steps.

Step One

To report a hire, click on the "Report a Hire" link located on your Home page (next to the calendar).

Step Two

Search for the student you hired. Then, click 'Select Student' next to his or her name.

Step 2 to report a hire

Step Three

Select the job/position for which this student was hired.

Step 3 to report a hire
