Attendance at our fairs is an excellent opportunity for organizations to build name recognition with our students. Our job/internship fairs are very popular among students - we average 1000-1500 participants. We offer 5 events each year; a description of each follows.
- Job Expo for Part-Time Jobs
Held during the first week of classes (late August or early September), this event is ideal for organizations looking for part time or full time help during the academic year. - Fall IT/ENGINEERING/SCIENCE Job/Internship Fair
Held in late September - Fall GENERAL Job/Internship Fair (Business, Communications, Healthcare, Government, Non-Profit/Human Services)
Held in late September and mid-October, these events are ideal for companies seeking December graduates, companies hiring early for May graduates, and those seeking interns for the spring or summer. - Spring IT/ENGINEERING/SCIENCE Job/Internship Fair
Held in early March - Spring GENERAL Job/Internship Fair (Business, Communications, Healthcare, Government, Non-Profit/Human Services)
Held in March, these events are ideal for companies hiring May graduates and summer interns.
EVENT FEES:
Fall and Spring IT/ENGINEERING/SCIENCE and GENERAL Job/Internship Fair Fees: Registration includes one 6' table, chair, table cloth, parking and one hot lunch buffet ticket.
- Corporate Registration Fee [$250.00]
- Non-Profit Registration Fee [$125.00]
Additional Lunches [$20.00]
1 lunch is included with your registration fee - Electrical Outlet [$50.00]
Please note that we have limited electrical outlets - this will be assigned on first come, first serve basis.

All artwork MUST be done in black and white digital format (jpeg preferred) and formatted to the measurements indicated below.

(8-1/2"x11" with 1/4" trim) - Half Page Career Fair Booklet Advertisement $250.00
(7" x 5") - Quarter Page Career Fair Booklet Advertisement $150.00

JOB/INTERNSHIP SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
RATES RANGE FROM $1000 - $10,000 per event
Designed to assist students in finding internship and full-time job opportunities, these events provide employers an opportunity to build name recognition with over 1000 student participants from all academic majors. Sponsorship benefits ranging from logo recognition on print advertising to extensive campus publicity that lasts all year.

HOW DO I REGISTER?
You can register for any of these events by logging into your ZebraNet account (login located on right side bar of this page) and clicking on the Career Events/Job Fairs section of the top menu bar. If you don't have a ZebraNet account yet, click here to establish one.
After you have registered for the fair you will receive an approval packet via email that includes directions, a parking pass and information regarding hotel accommodations if necessary.

ON-CAMPUS RECRUITING (OCR)
To streamline your interviewing process, rooms are available at the Career Center at no charge for you to reserve and conduct private interviews. Applicant resumes are submitted to your exclusive password-protected account through ZebraNet. You can choose to pre-select candidates, or have an open schedule. In addition, if you visit campus for interviews after our Job/Internship Fair, students you meet at the fair can be added to your already existing schedule.
WHAT DATES ARE AVAILABLE?
Fall Semester: Dates are available from late September to early December
Spring Semester: Dates are available from early February to the end of April
*Holiday exceptions may apply
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
You can request interview date(s) by logging into your ZebraNet account and clicking on the On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) Schedules section of the top menu bar. If you don't have a ZebraNet account yet, click here to establish one.
After you have submitted an interview date request you will receive a confirmation and further instructions from Kimberly Joy Dixon.

COMPANY PRESENTATIONS/INFORMATION SESSIONS
Space is available on campus for organizations to conduct presentations to students about their culture and career opportunities. The cost to reserve a room can range between $120.00 and $1000.00 depending on the location and size of space. Marketing for your presentation is coordinated by the Career Center and a team of Marketing Interns.
HOW DO I MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR A PRESENTATION?
If you plan to visit campus for a full day of interviews through our on-campus recruiting program, you can request a date for a presentation through your on-campus recruitment schedule request through ZebraNet.
If you are not visiting campus for interviews, but are still interested in conducting a presentation, click here to complete our request form. You can email or fax the completed form to the attention of Kimberly Joy Dixon. Our fax is 631-632-9146.
EMPLOYER PRIME TIME SERIES
Space is available in the Career Center lobby, at no charge, for employers to distribute literature, educate students about job/internship and volunteer opportunities, and collect resumes on a drop-in basis. This is an excellent opportunity for students to stop by between classes to learn more about your organization or industry. Employer Prime Times are ideal for employers who are trying to develop name recognition with Stony Brook students. Our Career Center marketing team will publicize your visit through webpage announcements, e-mail distributions, and classroom announcements.
